For more than 18 years the blast-cleaning media manufactured by UralGrit has been in use by the majority of shipbuilders and ship-repairing facilities in Russia, and the NIS. Also it is supplied to oil and gas companies, as well as steel mills. Among the largest ship-repairing facilities there should be mentioned the following clients of UralGrit - Murmansk Ship Yard, Novorossijsk Ship Yard, Kanonersk Ship Yard, Slavaynsky Ship Yard, Pervomajsky Ship Yard, DalZavod Holding.

UralGrit takes all the measures to keep the high quality of the media until it gets to the end-user. The media is shipped to customers in durable super sacks of 1 ton size with polyethylene liners, which keep the packing sealed even over a series of handling operations from one carrier to another. URALGRIT possesses several production sites and warehouses, which enables us to deliver the orders in a short period of time.

The blasting media is delivered in soft disposable 1 ton super sacks. The sacks are sealed with a polyethylene liner. Protective fiberboard plates prevent the sacks from tearing against the car edge while transportation.

Advantages of Using the Super Sacks:

  • The lowest cost protection of the products (compared to other methods of packaging);
  • Reduction of manual operations when packing and handling the products;
  • It is possible to store the product outside;
  • It is possible to transport the products in open freight cars, and reduce demurrage to a minimum;
  • No need to return the packaging, and reduction of package disposal costs.
